It's an awesome place. I can't say enough good things about it. Perfect location (just steps from the train station), a decent price, & pretty much anything you might need from an internet connection to bowling alley, to a Kobe beef steak! I'll be staying there when I get to go back.

They didn't give me (white guy from the U.S.) any trouble. They helped me with my international calls & even held my extra bags when I went to Kyoto and Osaka for 2 days so I wouldn't have to lug them there and back.

I have read a bunch of reviews saying the beds arnt very comfortable. I understand that 'uncomfortable' is subjective so what was your take on the beds? would you say they were firm, soft, very firm, very soft?

They were firm, yet comfy. After that long flight anything would've been good. But I was there for about 2 weeks and there wasn't 1 night where I had trouble getting to sleep.
