@LetTheRightOneIn911 Home is only considered an advantage because you'd know your way around. Corpus Cristi (where Colin & Christie are from) is over 350 miles away from Dallas. Do you know your way around a city 300 miles from where you live? But you are right about the other teams.

@shirahbe I'll tell you that only one team has ever won in their hometown/state. It's like the hometown/home state curse. Frank & Margerita (NYC), Wil S2 (San Francisco), Amani & Marcus (Atlanta), Colin & Christie (Texas) All lost in their native state in the finale
Only Nat & Kat won in their home state (Cali)

@ansonpang20 even if they live there it doesn't mean they have an advantage over the others. In other seasons teams lost a leg and another team even lost the finale in their hometown

Why does the Linz know the way all around Toronto. Do they live there? It is unfair as other teams have to look at maps and ask for directions.
