This is my restored 1968 Helicom Commuter H-1B
( grand daddy to the Baby Belle/Safari Helicopters )
this machine was even flown by the Designer Harold "Pop" Emigh and was even owned by the Company that bought out Helicopter Timarand Helicopters. So it is a true part of home built Helicopter History. all inspection and logs are up to date at the time of this posting.
Helicopter hovering at over max gross pilot weight. pilot is 320 pounds. this is the worse case conditions, over weight, hot day and high humidity. and she still lifted 3 feet in the air.
this Helicopter is for sale $32,000 or best cash offer.
you can E-mail me at ncra@bellsouth.net for more info.
if you already own a Commuter Helicopter, I also run a commuter/safari web site on yahoo groups. and I would like to hear from other Helicom commuter owners.
I am selling this one to build me 2 seat Commuter.
I just want to comment that Reece Kelso was a fine person and a fine helicopter pilot as well. I flew with him too. I think it was the first time I ever had the controls of helicopter. He is missed by many. Reece was fortunate to have many years of flying and many friends as well. He even gave me a little dog that I cherished for years. I miss both of them!

@rotorlite I did not know that Reece had passed on, I knew he was in bad health awhile back and lost his medical. Reece was a really nice guy and a great Pilot with a great science of humor..
I only flew with him 2 times.
