It's amazing that this was ever made, but here it is -- in six parts. "The Key to Watergate" (Barbara Newman's 1992 A&E documentary) explores what was behind the Watergate burglary. In particular, why did the burglars have a key to a particular desk drawer at the DNC? The key -- and the reasons -- have been long suppressed. A real shocker! Don't miss it. http://www.nixonera.com/library/watergate.asp
@NOC63 Name the other crimes that "Watergate was the least of."

Nixon admitted to billy Graham some time go that Jews were dominating everything and somehow this might have pertained to the liberal Jewish control groups somehow having a hold on politics and sway in regards to Israel and they had to be stopped..this has actually been suggested as pertains to Watergate....but we may never know

Seems like another muddy the waters effort. Liddy is talking about call girls, and needing a budget over a million dollars [to start] exposing a sex scandal ?
Nixon is threatens Richard Helms with the"Bay Of Pigs thing. An assistant FBI director helping the Washington Post with a hidden hand.. It didn't wash then, and it stinks a block away today.
Watergate was the least of Nixons crimes......!

I don't know if I buy this conclusion. If the target of the burglary was to expose a Democrat run call girl ring, the disclosure of such would have easily turned the tables against the Democrats and to the advantage of the office of the President. There had to be something else.

Its interesting about John Dean, in the other documentary, when He ask Nixon for hush money, instead of asking what burglers wanted, (one hundred thousand?? dollars) he asked Nixon, for one million dollars for the burglars, and Nixon said, we can get it for them...
