Crass were subversive for about a minute at the turn of the 80s. But when a collective reunites for a bunch of poseurs what anticipate the opening verse 30 secs in advance, it only renders me sad. Opposing commercialism and corporate hegemony becomes a bit of a farce when your fan base has latched upon your logos and singalong tunes. Hurl a brick asswads.

I was around in 80/1/2/3 crass were such a subversive band then , i never got that.

I thought there music was fantastic, not just the political message.

Some kid painted the crass (gun logo) on our local playground area, i thought it looked cool as fuck . There is a shit load more to crass than the political message they believe in, You cant stop veggies or nukesits stupid to think you can, and we have to have law and govs, fact of life, but good to have a band like. them to stir it up.

CRASS i now a mainstream group like UNFAIR? is mainstream and INDIE. just becuase people dont comment on the page really is irrelevant. people are still a bit homophobic of being associated with the CRASS race but im sure alot of mainstream people and fans will show up.

punk music is still all about design and stage presence as we can see with CRASS. in teh future I can see Crass played in shops to sell RETROGRADE HERMAN MILLER chairs to architects. THATS ENTERTAINMENT AND THATS ART. take it or leave it.
