Thumbs if Tracy Morgan brought you here.

How 'bout we each contact a big-time policy maker, or more than one, and ask how it's comming along. What their priorities are.
I'm a huge fan of Leon Panetta as a man that can make a dent in US environmental policies. Smart and willing to go the distance. Look him up.

bla bla bla bla...

@ltsgoyanks I think he's a chemistry teacher. Nice post.
@mamaschristmasbunny - (sigh) Watch the videos or don't, but only critique them if you actually have. I don't believe you have.

@n0s1r Sorry it took so long to reply. I see what you are trying to say there, but still don't think that there is anything unchatic about death..it may be normal, but that doesn't make it unchaotic. If nothing else, then death is the Great Mystery, and only after having it happen does anyone find out what it's really all about. And sorry for "presuming" about how much you have seen death first hand.

@mamaschristmasbunny Who are you to question science when you obviously have so little education you can't even write a coherent sentence? I'm sure you know SO much about science and we should all listen to you over the actual scientists... *end sarcasm*

@mamaschristmasbunny Sorry bud, gotta call you out here. Only a physics teacher? Physics is perhaps one of the most difficult subject matters for most people to grasp. It combines scientific process and many levels of math, formulas, theorems and statistics deboot. You may be right that man will not destroy this planet, but I think it is very plausible that man will destroy Much- if not Most of mankind before my grandchildren have grandchildren. Lighten up on this guy, he's a good one.

Man is only dumb for accepting the science of the people who would try to put us in any mess.

Have you ever watched the Video, the Global Warming Swindle by Martin Durkin? Or maybe End Game by Alex Jones? Or maybe Terror Storm by Alex Jones? Heard of Richard Lindzen who a Climatologist or John Christy or Roy Spencer? Maybe look at papers done by those guys of science who really do what you do, but-, for a living. It might invoke a type of thought that gets you thinking on a wide scale.
John Christy was on the IPCC, but took himself off of it. Richard Lindzen is tops in his field.
Seen the wholes series now. Fantastic video(s). I bet you're an awsome science teacher.
Funny how only the anti-science crazies seem to dominate posts though.

Yes, it is.
A sample experiment to demonstrate this would look something like this:

This has been understood since Fourier, over 150 years ago. It has never been rebutted, and is in fact the explanation for the globe being roughly 30 degrees warmer than it should be from radiative transfer alone.
And while I'm at it, Venus is roughly four times as hot as Mercury, despite being further from the sun, due to this very effect.
