  • Cool ! Great demo & infor on the soaps. In Canada, if taps are separated the hot is on the left side & cold on the right. I made some melt n pour bunny rabbit soaps for Easter gifts & they dont foam up at all...no suds...& they discoloured after about a week...real turnoff. Thks for sharing all of this with us. Shine on Karen !

  • @mukwah1111 Did you buy SLS free melt and Pour? if so then that's why, or maybe you added some shea butter or other ingredient in too, if you did the soap needs to cure first. What I will say to you is, form all of the customers I've ever come into contact with, people do want bubles in their soap, so I say buy the M&P with SLS, it really isn't as harmful as some people make out and I promise you too, that most people don't care that it's in there either.

  • Karen - you can sew netting into little bags. In the US we call them soap savers.

You can also pop your small soap left-over into them and get use out the the little scraps of soap that you would throw away :o)

  • @bpereztab Well, thanks so much for that, that's a great idea. What I do with any ends or odds and sods is I give them away with every order, so anybody that orders form teh website will get at least 1 free sample, the more they buy the more samples I put in there.

  • We all know that melt & pour has not such bubbles as cold process. I don't like m&p at all.

  • I just wish that you would appreciate water better and not let it run as much as you do. I live in a city where there's very little water and just seeing you do this breaks my heart.

  • Great video, Karen. I test all my soaps and they must have lots of bubbles. I always add a little castor oil to my recipes and that seems to help with the lather.

  • @EdensSecret1 Dont think it was SLS free & didnt add anything to it other than fragrance oils...maybe I added too much fragrance? The sweet bunny soaps ended up with a "vintage" beigy/brown cast to them after about a week or so. And absolutely no suds. Oh well, they make good air fresheners in the bathroom. Not a total waste eh. Thks for your input Karen,

  • @EdensSecret1 I think you're soap looks fabulous, I think once I get my own I will definately do a review. The "haters" are probably just jealous and either are soapers themselves and trying to make themselves feel/look better....

I make some of my own soap and have tested so many as I test everything that comes into my store, whether it be product I purchased at wholesale, consignment or my own...so I know a good soap when I see one...:)

  • @HeavenlyScentsations Well, I'm also glad you said what you did, because some of the haters have said some pretty mean things about my soap, one of them was that it doesn't foam, so that's another reason I am truly grateful to you.
