Mario Bros Moog Mix

Jen performs some Mario Bros themes on the moog voyager. The filters right at 47 seconds sound awesome.

In this example we are using a moog voyager with a microkorg as a voice expander. On the microkorg we turn the filters and envelopes off. We run its out put into the voyagers audio in. The Midi from the voyager plays the korg and the the filters and envelopes on the moog shape the sound. the moog keyboard plays only the highest note and the korg oscillators take care of the rest. now we have a polyphonic digital / analog hybrid synth.

as if that weren't enough, we are running the headphone output of the moog back into the microkorgs input which goes back thru the moogs envelops and filter. this creates a feedback loop that makes this particular sound noisy and even kinda filthy.

Even though the Voyager is monophonic, it trigger polyphony if the slave instrument is so equipped.
