With the opening of this wing, a number of food outlets have moved in and set up business. Thus these lifts (totally 4) are of very high patronage during lunch time and in the early evening.

The elevator shown here has the new generation Schindler round buttons and a newly designed capacity badge. On arrival the outside floor indicator shows a triangle pointing upwards or downwards to illustrate the direction of travel. It also illustrates a bell identical to the following lift but not heard here:

@tsengchungyin Yes, it's one of the oldest tall buildings in that area. But it underwent a major renovation in 2008.

These actually aren't new fixtures. Schindler has always had an 'alternative' set of fixtures (last 10 years or so) featuring Green illumination like that.

Door lock is so quiet. Where's the standard chime? Is the chime standard or one note highter?

It's one note higher.

It seems that Schindler elevators don't have rattling door locks. The 'dit-dit' sound is simply the working of the door mechanism.

Yes, it's in a few of their catalogs. One such installation is Tierra Verde, or the residential complex in Fanling where the kid was decapitated and died when the Schindler elevator started moving upwards with the doors open a few years ago.

Level 7 is locked. It's a private club that consists of two floors with the entrance at Level 6.
