A diferencia de las aleaciones normales, las uniones atómicas de las SMA les permiten recobrar su forma original, cúbica y más robusta, cuando se vuelven a calentar. Así, los productos realizados con SMA empiezan su vida con la forma robusta y la mantienen a medida que se enfrían pasando a la forma débil; luego, si se doblan, con un poco de calor recobran la forma original y robusta en que fueron creados gracias a que este calor modifica sus uniones atómicas y les devuelve la forma original.

Hi...a question:do u know the diameter of your nitinol wire?i mean, in the video you have got a awesome effect, never exceeding the martensitic yielding point( 8%)...but we can't do that with a 0.015 inches nitinol wire..any suggestions?
