This is an historic performance of Bob Brookmeyer playing with KUG Jazz Orchester from 23 march 2009 in Graz (Austria). Brookmeyer was nearly 80 YO and he still was able to play!
He spent almost a month in Graz, giving lectures, lessons, as well as conducting that Big Band.
Unfortunatelly I started to record this piece from his solo.
Hope You enjoy this recording, inspite of bad quality :)
He died on 15th december 2011. Rest In Peace
