The group Northern Bluegrass was founded at the end of 2005 in the south-west of the province of Drenthe in the Netherlands.
Two very enthusiastic Bluegrass lovers (Ypie Kras and Alte Pleket) got in touch with banjo player Peter Noorman.
The start of the bluegrass band Northern Bluegrass was there.
After some time Edu Grin is willing to join the band as a mandolin player.
Jan Michielsen from Belgium often supports the band with his wonderful bass playing.
The band makes beautiful, most traditional Bluegrass music with Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Upright bass and wonderful Vocals.
The music they make is of e.g. Alison Krauss, Lynn Morris, Rhonda Vincent etc.

That's a great song! I remember going to see Mike Williams and Mike Cross sing that song. Williams wrote it, and they both were bluegrass players on the college circuit.
great song, very well done!
