In the year 2000, Pete Peterkin world renowned singing impressionist recorded this CD of songs IN HIS OWN VOICE (search Pete Peterkin for more songs on CD). The CD combines hip/hop, blues, soul, jazz and rock. The songs featured here are "Jill," a rewrite of the Peggy Scott Adams classic "Bill" and "The Pot Callin' the Kettle Black" (a Pete Peterkin original song). Pete performs all instruments and vocals. Jill started off as a radio parody but the response was so great that Pete decided to do a serious recording of the song while doing a blues CD.
