While I agree that the mold, especially the altmode, fits better with Blades, every picture I saw of Blade's robotmode looked kind of ugly to me because of the toyish paintsheme. Springer on the other hand looks decent in both modes and the rotating blades on his forearm are a nice hommage to his original sword.

Cool Review! I'm really growing to this figure and will get it at ebay, I think.
The Warbot Defender Version might be the better one, being more G1 accurate, tripple changing and so on, this one here is the only spinger I know whose Altmode looks like an vehicle from present Earth, not complete realistic but also not sci fi. G1 accurate or not, this is a great plus for me + he is a lot cheaper to get then Warbot + he transforms more easily and faster. So this is my favourite.

@theprimo100 If I remember correctly, ed-209 was some sort of an enforcement robot or something like that from the movie Robocop. I could be wrong though cause I haven't seen those movies in a really long time.
