Martin Dalgleish and Scott Lorson, CEO of FetchTV discussed the future of IPTV in Australia and beyond.

Get the 'goss' on - is Optus in the game yet, is Telstra T-Box a genuine competitor, what's happening with TiVo? Will influential US players like Netflix, Roku or Hulu enter the Australian market?

Can Quickflix survive sending DVD's in the mail? Can the media content offerings on Play Station and X:Box make them genuine competitors? Is FetchTV part of a wider AsiaPac IPTV play by major shareholder Astra and Malaysian Billionaire, Ananda Krishnan.

Just how important is the NBN to the general viability of IPTV and OTT (so called 'over the top')TV business models in Australia? And, why on earth anyone will want a set top box in their living room in a year or two when content of all kinds can be delivered direct to smart TV's via Google TV or other operating systems.
