MUGEN Battles #25 - Chun-Li (me) vs Alba Meira

Ever since that faithful day, Chun-Li has made it her life's mission to dismantle the syndicate that killed her father and destroyed her life, the syndicate called "Shadaloo".

She has traveled all around the world, tracking Shadaloo's every move, each time falling just short of capturing its leader and the man responsible for her father's death, Vega. Using every piece of information and police tactic at her disposal, she has found out about another criminal organization that has records of serving as an arms dealer for Shadaloo. It's a small lead, and it may get her nowhere, but Chun-Li has no choice but to investigate, as any clue may bring her one step closer to finally shutting Shadaloo down for good.

The Mephistopheles group, a gang of strange fighters, run the city of Southtown. They are a small part of the major organization known only as "Addes".
Because of the Mephistopheles group, Southtown is constantly in danger of becoming a complete war zone, gang wars and drugs being more and more commonplace. Addes has also been known to produce greatly advanced technology, and might have shared some of their secrets with Shadaloo.

With the possibility of "Mephistopheles" "Addes" having strong ties to Shadaloo being high, Chun-Li heads to Southtown to gather more information.

AI-patched Alba is actually not all that hard. Not rage-inducing like a lot of patches, but can still put up a good fight. One odd thing about him though is that he's really...hoppy.
He spends half the match hyper-hopping around the screen, trying to get in on you so he can do his "jab jab jab SPECIAL MOVE SUPER CANCEL" combos, which he will do without fail, and they HURT. A simple special move cancelled into a level 1 super can do 50% of your lifebar! Gotta love XI-styled characters.
All the hopping acually makes him a little easier to hit though, since while he can air block, he'll be to busy spamming jumping hard kicks, and you can knock him out of the air if you've got the right moves to counter him with. He gets himself caught in supers quite a bit too.

Overall, the patch gives a nice little challenge and Alba himself is a decent character, although being able to shoot out three projectiles at once is a little iffy (dunno if he actually had that in Maximum Impact). He can do a load of damage too, but that's XI for ya.

lol, I actually do lose sometimes in my MUGEN Legends series. In fact, part one of Shingo's legend is exactly what you're lookin' for in terms of slaughter. :P

But for these, yeah, I sometimes have to replay the matches, but only a few times. Gotta make it look good, y'know?

Never have I had to play a match over and over times just to win, the exceptions being those damned AI-patched Touhou characters and the final part of Lilith's legend. Those Touhous, man...

I really like how you write and animate stories with your MUGEN battles. They add considerable amounts of depth to the battles. Very good choice of characters, stages and music too!

Yo bro I just wanted to say that he (Alba) can throw three projectiles. He gained that move in KOF 2006 (Maximum Impact 2).
