its all about the experience mate. Grid's got a hell of a nice feel when you go about a track. The camera shakes because the head shakes and your brain filters everything out and keep your eyes leveled. But in term of experience based on "onboard" cameras from youtube videos and race events on TV, it feels more realistic. This video is awesome! I wish GT5 would be similar, with a bit less shake of course.

Only thing that sounds fake is the tire squeals.

lol, what those grid fanboys don't realize is that from replay cameras the camera looks shaky as hell, but when driving you filter that out... not for THEM though since it's REALISTIC that your brain is not big enough to compensate for the car shaking. XD
This video demonstrates that point very well, nice work.
