Here's the details: - $250 - 1978 Jawa moped - Good paint, perfect body, NO rust - Needs old gas drained - Needs new plug - Replace brake cable - Replace headlight bulb - Originally bought from Bob's Cycle Shop in New Berlin, PA
My landlady has one in her garage, and i think I just made a deal to purchase it. Eep! Well, I'm gonna do work in her (my) apartment in exchange for it, I guess... I hope parts are fairly easy to find, I thought I was going to trade it for an iPAD, heh
@lazylifestudios1234 It depends only on that, what does your country's law say about this topic. In my country you have to own an "M" categorized driving licence which can be used only for driving motorbikes under 50 ccm. You can also drive a motorbike which is less then 50 ccm with a "B" categorized driving licence, which is used for cars as well, but I live in Hungary. This is the law here. So... I think you should ask about that at the closest police station to be sure.
Yes it does. I live in Hungary, and I've read a lot about these mopeds. Those Jawa mopeds which were sold in the us, all had this type of headlight, and most of them had a different type of carburetor called Bing, but I think that this is an exception with a Jikov.
quick question to anyone are these things legal on the road like im 15 and i have my temps i get my license in a month and im wondering can i ride my 1978 jawa babetta on the road its only 49 cc
