YES! As a student, I've used my windows mobile (and Android) phones all the time for studying. Office mobile is great since professors give out their lectures in Power Point all the time--and you can make your own "flash cards" using it too. Having MS Word or MS Excel on the go is also priceless...One Note, I'm learning is also quite a useful tool for school or anything....Good luck!

If only I had seen this video when Microsoft was launching this phone in spring of 2011--they only showed a bunch of music video style commercials that suggested to me that they only cared about social networking. I loved using mobile office on my previous phones since year 2000. Now I'm on my new (awesome) Android Thunderbolt (BUT) haven't found a good mobile office replacement.
