  • When I loaded my new hard drive the computer still read my old hard drive, I am swiching from a 40gb to a 2tb. What will i need to do so my computer can reconize my new 2tb hard drive.

  • @fsinte11997 Well are you trying to use them both at the same time? if so all you do is plug it in and it should work. if not check your BIOS and make sure all of your SATA ports are enabled. along with your new hard drive. if you cloned your 40gb to your 2tb then remove the 40 gb from the computer completely and it should then boot from the 2tb. i would also not recommended running your comp off the 2tb because it spins verryrrrrry slowly compared to most other hard drives.

  • hi ive cloned my 80gb drive to a 160gb hard drive now when i use the 160gb hard drive it thinks is a 80gb that what shows uo,cant any one help with correcting this plese

  • @sgtpete1 use a partition program to edit the partition

  • @sgtpete1 did you ever figure-it out?

  • I'm getting ready to upgrade my 80gb HD to a 160gb HD in my laptop. I have an external enclosure I plan to use for the cloning process. In your opinion, should I use Easus Todo or Easus Disc Copy? I'm a little confused on the differences.

  • @pigshart use the backup so you will have the file and when you clone it causes partition problems between difrent sized drives

feel free to ask any other questions
