@ccmerope haha, indian dance in general is abhinaya dance ( and obviously bollywood because it takes its roots in kathak, bharatanatyam, odissi, kathakali,...). I just get bored when I see that, is that a fault? Critics can also be constructives. Look at Madhuri, she is just a godess!

@thedancer22 HA! this is not really an 'abhinaya' dance. its too quick & fast. she smiles and has cute expressions where she can...you're so silly. she does other dances where her abhinaya is great. this is the best choreographed bollywood dance i've seen so far.

A single spin - is not a pirouette. It is just a movement of man's body. And to say that you are spinning too much means the same as to say that you are turning to left or to right too often, or raising your hands too frequently etc. As for pirouettes they look fantastically beautiful and we like to do it because we know how to do it.
You shouldn't count how many spins we have done, or how many times have squated or jumped. Just watch and enjoy!

@thedancer22 ! As for abhinaya, even though the dance is widely shot mainly, one can see quite well, that the soloist - is a master in abhinaya, rhythm and motion.
