LOL! People who have never been in a band just say any old shit.
It's Hard being a frontman and a voice because you don't really follow the music as it is.
I've been both and having an instrument is easy enough to run through riff's and repetetive chorus.
The Hardest instruments in a recording are the drum's and the voice. Nick isnt the classical harmonical cute singing pop star that follow's the music piece by piece.
He likes being an outsider and give atmosphere.
