@JoRasVlogs It was an "armored" ambulance, the only thing in danger was me. Google "M113 Ambulance".
We had to take the track apart, replace another track shoe, and go through the whole process again. That took two more hours. Another late night in the tropical heat. OH, I forgot to mention, we were in Panama.

Hello Jo, I'm doing fine. :-) Most of my bills get paid "automatically."
Speaking of Italian, how long has your family lived in "Oz"?
One time we were in the motor pool, replacing track shoes on an armored ambulance. It was near the end of the normal duty day, and all we had to do was reconnect the the track and set the tension. The the track shoes would not reconnect, the old and new bushings were not matching up. I got so frustrated I beat the side of the ambulance with a sledge hammer.
