If thats so then why is it such a problem?

If we don't need to worry about it, then why have thousands of good dogs been banned because of it?

The Facts:

-It is important

-If it continues EVERY breed will be effected

-Many cities do NOT care that it violates freedom of choice or persuit of happiness why? Because people have been killed in attacks... though you are more likely to die many other ways than being attacked by a dog

The dog that now shares my life is a beautiful Golden Retriever, so breed specific legislation is not a worry to me personally at the moment. But I have owned, bred and loved Dobermans also and I agree that singling out specific breeds for discrimination is unfair to both dogs and people. I take my dog to the dog park daily. I have yet to see a vicious Pit Bull or Doberman there. In fact, there's an un-neutered male Pit Bull that is completely non-aggressive toward other dogs and humans.

you have got to be fucking kidding me all these dogs will be banned one day. i could not believe labs, goldens, danes, and newfound dogs are on the list to. they are some of the most sweet and gentle breeds out there.

All my 4 dogs are on that list. I have a pure husky, a pure blue pit bull terrier, a half boston terrier and a half catahoula hound. BSL sucks!
