Actor Barry Morse speaks to the audience following his successful performance as George Bernard Shaw in the new play "Bernard and Bosie: A Most Unlikely Friendship." The play was presented as a part of the International Shaw Society Conference at the University of South Florida, Sarasota. • Cool video! I was just wondering when this was made; I didn't see a date in the info box. Just curious. Did anyone film this play when Barry and his son were performing it, by any chance...?

  • Barry performed on this particular occasion in 2004. An archival video was made of the performance and will be available to researchers, students, journalists and others in the "Barry Morse Collection" which is being established at a North American University - more information will follow on Barry's website in the near future.

  • I hated him on the fugitive, that's how good he was. He'll be missed!

  • A quite lovely man. It would really have been something to know him personally.

  • Shavian? Get me the tank! No, wait, that's Arshavin...

Sounds like he started out more as a candidate to be arrested by Lt. Gerard than to become him. And isn't "truculent" a great word?

  • How lovely! Ah, I could listen to Barry talk for hours, bless 'im!

Makes me smile and teary all at the same time.

  • RIP Barry Morse

  • wonderful story, engaging and charming as ever even at that age

  • But, it made me want more! Not to mention making me cry yet again :)

  • Thanks for posting this Tony! Arlette
