This is a video about how to install Windows 7 on VirtualBox. VirtualBox is virtualization software available for Microsoft Windows, Intel Macs and Linux machines. It's made to run on a desktop as it does not have the features required for a production environment. The good thing is that you can run it on your machine with relatively little changes to your host machine. If you are a Mac or Linux Person, you can use it to run Windows. If you are a Windows Person, you can use it to run Linux since Linux does not run well on Virtual PC. VirtualBox is available from Oracle at http://VirtualBox.org

  • If u use nat network worm viruses can find your ip and infect your host

  • @SirJamiestevens that is not NAT specific. Any network could cause that problem.

  • My netbook dosnt have a CD drive:(

  • @StefanAllard VirtualBox will use an ISO file if you have one, but I wouldn't recommend running VirtualBox on a netbook. They aren't really built for much more than surfing the internet. Heck, I can't imagine running Windows 7 basic on a netbook though I've seen it.

  • lol this is not a Oracle but SUn virtual box it is different lol

  • "FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted."

Please help me!! (I have Windows Vista HP 32 bit)

  • I get an error about boot medium when I start it...

  • mi dai il link per scaricare windos 7

  • you need a CD :'( 0_o

  • Another place you can check is at the top of the window of the virtual machine. Devices > CD/DVD devices. If that isn't there, then something seems to have gone wrong with your virtualbox installation and I'm not sure how to fix it.
