    we really can do this -personally we are investing in solar hot water and solar electricity - pumping our water from a well using a solar electricity using a Grundfos pump - designing for solar.

    for cities, the Passive solar neighborhoods are totally doable, I believe people will have to pool thier personal $ toghether, say in a local credit union, to make sure we can make this changes "en masse" - thus it will be affordable.
