The Hornet Sportabout was a great little wagon, introduced in 1971. It stayed in production in various forms (Hornet, Concord and Eagle) thru 1988. At this Time, there was not a single other US car that was compact and 4 doorss or even 2 doors, No Dart, Maverick, Nova, Comet, Ventura or Valiant. This was the only compact usa made wagon. They had this market totally coverd which explained the very strong sales. This commercial has the voice over by John Bartholomew Tucker. His voice is very recognizable. He was the host of AM New York, the precursor to the Good Morning America show on ABC

John Bartholomew Tucker...I basically grew up with him! He was on TV and radio commercials all over the place.

@landyachtfan79 I'll get some more promo films. I've got a few more, Ramchargers, Pickups, more Diplomat films....but they are in super8 cartridge format which is much harder to work with and expensive to restore so I've been doing simple 16 mm commercials which are relatively inexpense to restore. I've got a number of 69 Dodge Commercials that I've not seen on line yet......so them too...will be up soon.
