Oil temp and pressure are not included in the OBD-II spec, so are not covered by the software.
The two devices aren't synced. The RPM reading from the engine conbtroller ECU is the same reading as that shown on the dashboard of the car.
I think there is software available for performance testing.
For tuning you need a custom application per vehicle. This is a specialist market which would be beyond standard OBD-II work.

OBD connectors in the car have 12v supplied by the vehicle. This is used to power the OBDKey unit. No other batteries are needed.
