College Music Video Project -- Jont - Caught Out In The Rain

Our task was to create two music videos both three minutes long with three differing films, including up to 10% of our own footage. This video is the first one and the second one shall have my own footage in it.

The films I chose were 'Saving Private Ryan', 'Jarhead' and 'Black Hawk Down'. I have chosen these films due to the fact that the all share the same theme, war. The song I have chosen is 'Caught Out In The Rain' by 'Jont'.

Unlike most war videos my video doesn't show death and destruction it shows loneliness and isolation of the war. It shows the depression people can feel when they are away from the people they love. Also it show how some people deal with the depression. Throughout the first chorus the video corresponds with the clips I chose. But after that it got a little harder.

I think that the video went well considering this is the first time I have used Final Cut Pro in its full potential.
