Nothing too serious, just a lil fun on one of the tracks we were camping on about 10 minutes outside of Lorne - Jamieson Track, Great Ocean Road, VIC...10 min from Lorne when travelling to Apollo Bay.

  • hey buddy, looking at buying one of these, also noticed your other vid whirring noise. would'nt mind your honest opinion on these. cheers

  • @ylilycam Hiya,

I would definitely recommend the Patriot to anyone - best in its class in my opinion. I have owned mine for over 2 years and it still makes me smile all the time! Regarding the other video, to be honest with you I have spoken to the dealer about this and they said the CVT is naturally noisy as it is (kinda sounds like an angry bumblebee lol) but they have also mentioned that they are (and I quote ''bulletproof'') and haven't experienced any problems with them. Hope I could help!

  • Nice vid pal.... and nice front bumper protection too! Where did you get it from? Who makes them??? Cheers and keep us up dated with your vids...

  • @Panic853 Cheers buddy :)

The nudge bar at the front is actually a factory item...came with the Freedom Series Patriots...u get the bonnet protectors, windshields and towing package but I took the side steps off.

  • It would be nice if it had a real 4x4 locker.

At 0:16 or 1:17 such little obstacles and it spun out.

No after market lockers for it either.

    Nice suv though.

  • @cobalt120 Hey, yer the camera angle seriosuly doesn't make it look as challenging as it really is. Obviously not the Rubicon Trail or anything like that lol quite a nice track to climb even in some wet weather but I reckon if you took an

X-Trail up here or another vehicle in the same class I reckon it would take a good few goes to get out of some of those spots especially 1:17. Jeep's engineering has certainly helped!
