A pasta shell casserole with a little heat. Meat or vegetarian, these jumbo pasta shells are a huge hit to take to a 'bring a dish' gathering.

Ingredients:
* 12-14 jumbo pasta shells, cooked,drained, rinsed in cold water
* 1 jar (12-16 oz) med or mild Picante Sauce
* 1 # ground meat (hamb, chuck, turkey), browned, drain of fat.
* 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
* 3-4 tablespoons (small can) diced green chilis, drained.
* 1/2 cup water.
* 1 Cup shredded cheese (Monterey Jack, or other)(divided 1/2 in recipe, 1/2 for topping)
* 1 can Fench Fried Onions (Durkee or French's) (1/2 in recipe, 1/2 for topping)
* Baking dish (10" round, 9X9 square)
* OVEN: 350
* Bake covered for 30 mins. Top w remaining cheese and french onions, uncovered for 5 minutes more
