  • Thanks

Corvette racing actually wishes that we did not exist. They have spent more time working against us than working with us over the years.

  • how do you lose to an m3??????????????

  • Easy when the Corvette has to run two 1 3/16" restrictors, and we burned our tires down. Not to mention that they have a budget of around 4 million and we have a budget of about 4 dollars. :)

  • i know this car is for sale. . . .but what id like to know is why does it not run at the front like the Riley Team cars ? Is it driver? Team & set up ? becasue this is a riley built car. . .

  • *note: meant to say road racing is terribly unpopular in the US. Which is sad, because it is the only real way to race a car.

  • I am sorry, I didn't realize the LMES was run in the United States of America.

Do you realize, that of almost ALL motorsports, road racing is the least popular/known of forms?

Couple SMALL television audiences, tiny on track crowds, and an utterly terrible economic climate, and you have 20 car fields here for our 'premier' class of road racing.

Companies with limited funds are not going to spend money on racing that has no return (no tv revenue, and little fan support at track).

  • Lou is the man, and eric, is the other man, you guys make fast look so som pretty. Love you guys at LG Motorsports, and always have. always watched from corner 8 at Mosport! have a great year LGM, and R.I.P GAGS!!!

  • If it's so impossible why does LMES has a 47 to 55 car grid?

  • I was only speculating. But, really, it seems pretty logical, because thats all Corvette Racing has done.

They ran two cars, and fought against each other for most of the last three years at the very least (yeah, some other GT1 entries MIGHT show up at Sebring/Petit LeMans) but it was basically just them.

And they have the audacity to celebrate their 'championships.' At least Audi had other P1 entries every week--even though they had no chance against Audi.

  • isnt that more likely shooting themselves? I mean you guys do advertise for them by driving in their cars, attracting people... thats the thing, if i would buy a porsche it would be for the racing heritage, same regarding Corvette, well since because Jan Magnussen drives or drove the C.6R at Sebring... so they are killing their own heritage...

  • yeah, i have to admit it was one of the most lackluster ALMS races i have ever watched.

the racing was still good, but god, it really needs more cars. it is just a barren wasteland out there. P1 is not interesting, P2 is not interesting, GT1 is gone, GT2 WAS the best racing the last few years, but if it keeps up it too will be a sad shadow of its former self.

ABSOLUTLE PROPS do you guys running still! it is IMPOSSIBLE to find any financial support right now,the economy is unable to do it

  • they likely don't want to shown-up by a privateer. take all the credit themselves...

lord knows thats all corvette racing did as a GT1 car...oooh aaaah, championship after championship against about zero opponents in ALMS

and with no one to call them out on it....

  • Hey Lou, I hope you guys win Long Beach with Boris.
