  • The fat Statue of Liberty is very reminiscent of the the heavy waitress on the cover of the great Supertramp lp Breakfast in America.

What a fantastically bizarre movie. I couldn't take my eyes off it.

  • simplesmente fantastico...

  • @RabydSalmon Hot Club from Paris.

  • @Riitzni Def. Django, but could also be described as Lindy Hop

  • @RabydSalmon Django Reinhardt style, a jazz legend. In the movie he has a 'cameo' in the opening sequence, the guy playing the guitar with his foot while he smokes.

  • is there a name for this particular style of music?

  • Wow! This chick really gets the jazz style. It's funny how people think of music from early in the 1900s as old people music - I wonder how many of them have ever been in the room when a song is being played like this! C'est magnifique!

  • Siempre quise volver a escuchar esta canciòn. Me parece fascinante y siento esa energìa. Es una canciòn para disfrutar. Me encanta esta versión en vivo. La melodia te queda dando vueltas en la cabeza.

  • Mijita Rica !!!

  • Fantástico!!! O filme é maravilhoso e igualmente a trilha sonora. Alguém tem a letra desta música?

  • @mozgreen She (Betty Bonifassi) now sings in the duo "Beast"... which is more like Dance/House music and also did vocal for some guy called DJ Champion on tha song "No Heaven" which you may or may not have heard

But unfortunatly she doesn't really do this sort of Manouche Jazz much... might have been a one time deal in fact.

  • @mozgreen No, in the film it was sung by a guy, a very excentric artist from France called "M". (Yes, just the 1 letter)

However the song was written by the Quebecois Benoit Charest seen here on the guitar performing for a Quebec TV show.
