i just had a fail moment like this: i just killed alec and he was still saying, "for england, james?" when a guard from up above shot me. rather than kill me, it knocked me off the edge. then while i was falling the screen faded to black as if i won. then, instead of the helicopter, a random bullet appears out of nowhere and knocks me off. i see Bond falling down the Cradle like he was pushed, and it ended up saying i died.

The only theory I have for this is that when Alec Trevelyan died in the movie he went to heaven and then when James Bond's time came and he died, Alec must have been waiting for him...

@brettdmason yeah I saw that happen once too! there was another time, don't remember how it worked but Trevelyan died before falling and then he fell through the air stiff instead of flailing in his death throes

My favorite thing to do is to get Trevlyan down there and when I kill him, i put on fast animation, and it looks like he falls down screaming in a comical way. Then, when Bond jumps on the copter, he just takes off on his own instead of waiting for the helicopter! XD that made me LOL when i was a kid.
