Namibia - Solitaire

Wenn man vom Sossusvlei durch die Naukluftberge gen Norden reist, kommt man in einer nach vielen Kilometern der Einsamkeit in ein kleines Kaff mit einer Tankstelle, und einer Hand voll Häuser. In den Weiten Namibias freut man sich manchmal schon über den kleinsten Anflug von Zivilisation, denn das Land ist weit und dünn besiedelt. Solitaire ist eine kleine Oase des Lebens. So ganz nebenbei gibt es an der Tankstelle den besten Apfelkuchen des Landes. Es ist der einzige Rastplatz zwischen Walvis Bay und Windhoek.
