Music is music no matter what race the artist(s) is. As a native it's about time i hear some good hip hop from native artist like Rezofficial and Winnipeg's Most. Just like @cousinmikes said "acting black" isn't what this is, it's a style and culture. Natives can do hip hop and not be pressured to "learn their traditions" and be nothing but pow wow singers. We are in a different generation than our ancestors were in. Thats what they did for music and this is what we do now for music.

@cousinmikes no i would prefer that they follow their traditions and lean to play the soul of the native pride, the pow wow drum. sing and dance too so your culture isn't lost by giving it to another just to be a gangster. warrior pride isn't about rap. follow the red path. find your true culture and lose the concrete indian stigma.
and just so you know im a pastey faced white boy that has alot of respect for true warriors. not red gangsters bent on destroying their ppl with drugs.
