  • OK, so a year later than expected my '90 extended cab is just about ready to wheel with. I just need to get the 5 speed in it and it will be done for this year, so far it has had rock sliders and a front skid plate/ bash gaurd custom made by my buddy put on, a 4" IFS lift, a Detroit tru-trac locker in the rear, frame shortened 24" in the rear, 33" rubber (though it will clear 35") custom ugly useless bed (that I hope to change soon). So look for more vids soon under NH off road!

  • what size lift/tires are on that cherokee?

  • @peraltish to be honest i cant remember how much lift but I think it was a 3", the tires are 33" TSL Thornbirds

  • Thats a nice 4 runner, sounds good to. I have an 86 pickup that im looking to trail ride in, with the same wheels as you 4 runner. Are they good for off-road.

  • @TheNoisyCricket yes, they work awesome, they are on my '90 extended cab pickup now. The exhaust on the 4runner is a flowmaster 40 series with no cat.

  • Where is this and you guys goin back anytime soon looks like some good mud

  • This is between Newport and Claremont NH. I am currently building a new Extended cab pickup and may have it done in time for Memorial day, will keep posting my progress

  • go NH!

  • I have been there in my XJ. And thanks for the comment about how you guess some people call this wheeling.

  • i live on cathole rd. where the house are!!!

  • nice music i hate it when people over kill the engines with gay ass music but thats they way to 4x4 listening to rock and roll

  • @counkev A four runner is far superior to a Hummer H2. An H2 is nothing more than a Chevrolet Tahoe with a fancy body on it. Literally.

It depends on how aggressive your tires are if they can be used on the road. The majority of them can. Get too knobby and aggressive, and they cease to be street legal.

Again, the aggressiveness of your tires will determine how bumpy and noisy your ride is. I'd be willing to bet that the tires on the 4 runner here make for a pretty noisy ride.

    Cool vid!

  • Is the 4runner as good an off roader as a Hummer H2 ? And can you use off road tires in city streets ? Will it be comfortable, will it be loud, will it be bumpy, and would you be able to get good traction still?

  • nice guys!
