We just returned from a week long, State Department sanctioned, college sponsored cultural tour of Cuba. Fabulous people, history, art, architecture, music, etc. I'm convinced that lifting the embargo will do more for the Cuban people to evolve over time to a more democratic society. Our embargo policy has failed to hobble the communist government - it just hurts the Cuban people. Lift the embargo now!

Cuba is to the U.S. as Georgia is to Russia. Only Georgia is far far closer.

I know, that in my lifetime, I want to go to Cuba. This 50 year embargo against a small 3rd world country is ridiculous and is below what America's standards should be.
