July 2010 Wasp Mozzie comparison

Direct comparison of Mosquito versus Wasp on same glider , Falcon 3 on Sunday July 11th 2010 in almost the same conditions in our terrible New Zealand winter. Not a huge difference but Wasp has slightly more thrust.

@ancientcloudhopper Hi Paddy. I sure am tempted, the older I get the more I regret leaving foot launched flying chasing a ppl. I'm one of those lazy types now buzzing aroung with a big windmill on the nose.

I can still get the heart rate up just watching some of these clips :-)

The Birdman comp sounds like a lot of fun!

@warp65 The Birdman comp was great. My student came 3rd at Worthing and 2nd at Bognor Regis. 30,000 pound prize up for grabs if you go over 100 metres. Will have a go myself next year if I can get over there. Quite a few old timers getting back into hang-gliding
