  • @graemephillips also im assumin youre a christian coz u mentioned your pastor. The devil hates the truth being told therefore he will look for anything to distract people from it and in your case uve completely missed the message being preached and focusing on the messengers accent? Think about it and dont just reply to this in your defence or read it and think im attacking you but honestly think about it and maybe rewatch this and take from it what god intended to be recieved God bless :)

  • @graemephillips i suppose you expect Andrew to go back to his mothers womb and be born elswere so he doesnt grow up in london and speak the way he does. He speaks the way in which he does because of where he grew up just like i speak scouse coz im from Liverpool dont make me 'off the world' though. God says come as you are, God is using Andrew just as he is. He is not puttin on an accent to fit people thats the way hes always spoken and its so IRELEVANT seriously??

  • Amen!

  • @DezeroMusic Besides, we're not there to make God acceptable to the people, but to tell people how they can be made acceptable to God. This means that we should not be mimicking their worldly ways to make the scriptures palatable. We certainly musn't talk like worldlings to get our message across. I don't advocate that Mr. Fuller talk like the Queen, but it is quite possible for him to apply a reasonable amount of care (regarding his speech) to use speech that is both formal and everyday.

  • @DezeroMusic I'm not arguing that Mr. Fuller should pretend to be posh. In fact, whilst I disapprove strongly of gangster culture, I am strongly behind the meaning intended in the phrase "keep it real". However, the Bible unequivocally says that we are to be distinct from the world, not to follow Christianity in name, but otherwise keep our worldly traits. My pastor (Peter Masters) wears suits as he thinks dressing down would be a poor witness. Talking like a gangster is just as bad.

  • @graemephillips preachers need to be individual as long as what they say is in line with the word of God. How can you expect a bunch of young kids who grow up in rough neighbourhoods to listen to a posh bloke in a suit speaking the queens English and think they are understood. If every preacher taught the same, spoke the same and acted the same there would be many people unable to hear the message. Just because you say "innit", doesn't mean you're a gangster.

  • @Hitty1967 I pray that one day you'll find God Yourself.

  • Brixton

  • Amen.

  • @NewBornNickumz 2 Peter 3:3. "The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good." Psalm 14:1 "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."2 Corinthians 4:4 "Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out." John 12:31 " The love of many will grow cold" Matthew 24:12
