Oh my gosh! I remember this place when I was a kid. I bet all my first cousins do too. We used to go by there all of the time. I had forgotten all about it. Thank you SO much for sharing this.

I am publishing a book about the experences of working in my dad's pet shop, zoo, and reptile gardens. It is full of animal stories from the 1950' and 1960's.

The little girl and the baby in the stroller are my sisters children, Shelly and Tom Lasater. Notice how much fun Vicky is having with Shelly. Vicky tries to take Shelly into her cage.
