heh, one thing I noticed is that this guy cannot do various ARTICULATIONS, which are very important on brass instruments. anyways, very impressive development to make some robot "buzz" like that... btw the left hand floating in the air is just.. unnatural and they have to do something about that.

Progress and new inventions can come out of just doing things for the fun of it. Just because the robot doesn't serve humans in some way doesn't make it a waste of money. I mean by your logic art is a waste of money because it doesn't have a tangible function.
