  • I had to watch twice to make sure, but when you are taking your steps forward you are putting more weight on your front foot than your back. This is not an accurate execution of Wing Chun stepping if that is the case.

  • @trenoops Hmmmm. If you don't initially put more weight on the front foot when you take any steps, you wouldn't be stepping, you'd be hopping. After the step the weight transfer occurs and readjusts with more on the rear. Perhaps I misunderstood your comment.

  • Storeing weight on your backleg tells your oppopnent to sink the bridge. 50 50 weight makes more sense. In this position he can react without being trapped on one leg. Well done.

  • pivoting on the balls of your feet isn't a very good idea either
