Checking out the new Led Lenser H14 R (rechargeable) headlamp, the latest addition to the LED Lenser headlamp series. I have confirmed this a regulated unit, is fully electronically driven. No more potentiostats. Runs off 4 AA batteries, the additional weight is easily comforted by a triple headband making this very comfortable to wear. Not sure when these will make it to the shelves but I'm liking it already. Think of it as the H7R all grown up! Apparently it is switchable from direct to regulated and vice versa, how awesome. You can switch from easy mode to professional mode too.

Update: What I called random was actually SOS :p

  • @oneandonlyfreestyler hehe thanks, yeah I figured it out afterwards. Cheers :)

  • Oh no, i just bought the H7R not knowing there would be a H14R soon. :-(

  • dont stress, they are very different beasts. The H7R is a bright star in its own right, and the batteries are a lot lighter, depends what application it's for really.

  • @MatHahogg Own one of LL H14R before talking crap!

  • I wish the H14 would not drop down to 60% power after 2 minutes!! Does anyone know if Led Lenser will release another headlamp soon?
