I grew up in Woodside back in the seventies & eighties. It was a lot of fun at that time. It's a lot different now, but it's great to see Donovan' Pub, Woodside Deli, and Stanly's Hardware still hanging on through these tough times. .Thanks for the post, it brought back many memories
I lived in the "heart" of Woodside for 8 years, just off 60 Street about two blocks from Woodside Ave. I always felt that I was in the middle of everything important that was going on when I lived there. Great places to eat, Awesome drinking, a stone's throw from Shea (now Citifield), and 10 minutes from midtown. Best days of my life!

Lived here on 61 Street across QB for 32 years, and still think Woodside is the best area in all NYC!!!!
