Bye Shannon, thanks
-
profound lyrics plus awesome music
-
Tis the truth.
-
shut up (stop typing) and listen to the fucking song.
-
RIP Shannon, you legend.
-
@LukeGNR94 I want to know why so many people in arguments tell the other person to leave. Why don't they just leave?
-
great song this band jammed out so much
-
@LukeGNR94 Clearly demonstrated by 'jog on.'
-
@TaylorKinsley jog on, i'm not immaturely arguing with you over the internet.
-
@LukeGNR94 Convenient for you, since you're wrong.
-
@TaylorKinsley Well no, but since I'm the person who mentioned the word fiend, and you're the one who tried contradicting me. I just retaliated. Can't win an argument over the internet, leave.
-
@LukeGNR94 Yet if you involve yourself, it's not sad. How interesting.
-
@TaylorKinsley Fiend can be both. he 'Fiended' for the coke. And he was a coke fiend. it can be used either way. Dont argue about whether the word is a verb or noun... and enjoy the fucking song. Sad person
-
@blindmelonism hehe, yeah this album was released after shannons death, entitled Nico after his daughter and a chunck of the profits when into a collage fund for her...nnice :)
-
@now72286 No, it isn't. It's a noun which means bad person, or somebody who is addicted to something, e.g. a drug fiend. It isn't a verb.
-
@TaylorKinsley yes it is.
-
@Lukith66 ... fiend isn't a verb.
-
masterpiece
-
@SuperDevolution because real albums may take a life time to perfect. so much heart and soul dont just come out. a shitty album can be done in a few days. where as a good album takes years
-
ohhhh i didn't realize. hm.
-
It was released after death, sort of as a memorial. The album has a song Shannon left on one of the guys answering machines at 3am once as well that he saved.
Despite the retard comments, this is the definitive Hoon lamentation for hopelessness. He was pulled down. A coke fiend.
Soup was wrongly dismissed and forgotten. But this song remains. I don't presume to know him or the group, but to me, this stands out as their peak. Posthumously released as a b-side but still relevant. Throw-away or not. I love it and always will.

This song speaks to me more than anyone could ever know. Shannon, the world is a deeply saddened place without you here. I can only imagine what beauty you would bring us today. See you someday down that long road man. You will never be forgotten and your strong words speak to me everyday. Have a peaceful rest or party hard wherever you are man.<3
