having had been an alcoholic and a heavy coke addict, I wonder if he had a line or a drink before this interview.

amazing to think he was a big drug user at this time, the late 80's was when he used it the most. He seems quite composed here, you couldn't tell from this interview.

I think this was in 1987 actually, that was when he had the problems with The Sun. Fantastic interview though.
