BTW - among other high profile promotions I was a key part of bringing SIX Hall of Famer's, including the greatest 3b and C of all time to a SRO crowd of 7,700 in our stadium.
Despite our fans speculating that we were perpetrating some sort of joke, we had the likes of Mike Schmidt, Dave Winfield, Gary Carter, Johnny Bench, Rollie Fingers and Eddie Murray - as in the REAL players - for a Hitting Contest . I was the onfield scoring judge in Short Center - talk about an unbelievable memory!!!

1) I'm a former Dir. of Promotions for a AA MiLB. This is a POORLY executed promotion. A hoax can be fun, but it's NEVER OK to leave the fans PO'ed, as gullible as they are.
2) Any dipshit Provo fan who REALLY thought that MJ was gonna show up at halftime of an NBDL season opener should have been charged double. Grow you famefreaks!
Halftime of a Jazz/Bulls NBA Finals Game, perhaps, but the GREATEST EVER has better things to do than indulge Russell's fantasies.
