  • @Microglia1 no man, because there was already a world-class spooling and jewelry industry thriving in India. It was systematically disassembled and the loot was taken to England. First was Bengal. India was thriving already. With all respect, colonialization is invasion and nothing else.

  • @Microglia1 BIOLOGY: MUTUALISM: COMMENSALISM: and PARASITEISM....THis wasn;t mutual they took way more than they gained...not commensalism but parasiteism they gave very little and took a lot...America has a transparent caste system...the mexicans...immagrants are the shudras...this was the same in India...you weren't made fun of by your caste and your caste did determine what you could do....But opportunity was available to all those who worked for it...shudras have gone to takshashila to learn

  • @IndianPanther then do away with the castes system. Give the poorest people a chance to strive upwards in life. A meritocracy is the best system for any people.

  • @maharajswami1916 Of couse, every colonial power looted from the colonies. However, if you look at India's history, industrialization climaxed during British rule. The Indians of the lower castes had the most opportunity for advancement during this period, and there many more of them than those in the upper castes. After independence, the "majority" of Indian people suffered from squalor and generally lowered standards of subsistence. Yes, they stole a lot but there's no denying they helped.

  • @Microglia1 they also looted 3 trillion pounds in gold...silver...spices...diamonds...silk...wood...and rubies...etc. not the best thing ever...

  • The best thing happened to India is to be ruled by the British...those guys sure were cruel but they created industry and a lot of finer things in life, such as the bespoke suits, sterling wares, and workable jurisprudence.

  • @adi1096 yeah.. lolzz

  • Only 10% of the comments are acturally about the video I lol at that

  • hahaha... very funny you guys... the problem in/of India is not population, not rain, not religion... none of that...

the only problem we have is CORRUPTION... every kind of corruption... political corruption.. religious corruption... ethnic corruption... and every other corruption you could ever name...

every other "problem" stems from the root cause, which is corruption... even poverty is somewhat a result of corruption that we have and that we encourage... we ARE the problem...
